Send a photo of the house and I paint it in soft watercolor on my iPad, with the garden, the front door and the details that make it yours. The finished painting is then printed on fine art paper, so you get a keepsake that looks and feels like a painting for your wall. It is a one-of-a-kind artwork made for your home, not a photo filter.

• Most portraits are painted in about 3 to 7 days, depending on my current workload, then printed.
• Every piece is painted by hand, so it will be close to your photo but not an exact copy. That is the charm of a handmade portrait.

How to order your home portrait

1. Choose a size, or Digital file if you only want the file.
2. Send 2 to 3 clear photos of the front of the house, taken in daylight and as straight-on as you can.
3. Tell me anything to add or leave out: a street number, a family name, the season, a car in the drive you would rather not see.

Add your photo when you order. If you can't upload it on this page, reply to your order confirmation email with it and I'll start from there.

Good to know

• Which photo works best? A sharp, daylight photo of the front of the house, with the whole building in view.
• Can you add a name or street number? Yes. Tell me what to include when you send your photo.
• Can you leave things out? Yes. Cars, bins and wires can be left out if you mention them.

As the artist I keep the copyright, and may share the finished piece in my portfolio. Tell me if you'd rather I didn't.
